Audit or Tax professionals with current experience in a public accounting firm or with private industry experience and a prior stint in public accounting are offered opportunities to join our Audit or Tax Services divisions in either the Commercial Industries Group or Financial Institutions Group. Our Commercial Group is comprised of client companies in a wide-variety of industries including manufacturing, food processing, investment management and investment funds, professional services, software and other technology, printing and multi-media, wholesale and retail, and non-profit. Client companies of our Financial Institutions Group include commercial banks, savings institutions, cooperative banks and credit unions. Our public company practice includes clients in both the Commercial Industries Group and the Financial Institutions Group.

Information Technology professionals with prior experience evaluating the IT environments of growth-oriented companies, including software platforms and software applications, are offered opportunities in the IT Assurance Group within our Risk Management Services division. Services offered by our IT Assurance Group include IT Risk Assessments, Application Security Reviews, Internal Network Security Reviews, and Internet Intrusion Reviews as well as SAS 70 engagements and HIPAA Security Rule Compliance Reviews.

Banking and Financial Services professionals with prior experience within financial institutions or financial service companies are offered opportunities in either the Regulatory Compliance Group or the Internal Audit Services Group within our Risk Management Services division. Professionals in our Regulatory Compliance Group provide services to many of our banking clients within the Financial Institutions Group, while professionals in our Internal Audit Services Group provide services to institutions that are not audited by Wolf & Company.

Getting an Internship

Through participation in our paid internship programs, you will gain valuable experience that will complement your academic learning and provide a stepping-stone for a smooth transition to work upon graduation. The ideal candidate for a internship at Wolf & Company should meet the following qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior Accounting Major

  • Positive, professional attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic

Our internship program is designed to complement your academic background with practical experience and give you early exposure to the professional services industry. As an intern, you will serve as a member of one or more client engagement teams. With guidance from and access to experienced members of your engagement teams, you will carry out a variety of client service assignments using our state-of-the-art tools and technology. You will receive performance feedback and developmental guidance along the way. As you participate in the Wolf internship program, you will gain perspective that goes beyond classroom theory and will learn first hand about public accounting and business consulting. At the end of your internship, you may receive a job offer to return to Wolf after you graduate. Wherever your path may lead, at the end of the summer you will have a better understanding of what it would be like to have a career in a leading professional services firm.
