David Zoppo is President and co-owner of R. Zoppo Corp., a third generation heavy/civil contracting firm. In his role as President, he is responsible for managing the overall operations of the company and seeking and developing new areas for future growth and diversification. David has been active in the construction industry for nearly his entire life, spending summers laboring at jobsites during his early years until joining the firm full time in 1985 as a Field Engineer. He is an active member of various contractor trade organizations and is a past Chairman of the Construction Industries of Massachusetts and past President of the Utility Contractors Association of New England.
Thomas D. Davidow, Ed.D., founder of Thomas D. Davidow & Associates, has more than 25 years of experience working with hundreds of national and international family-controlled enterprises. A frequent speaker at national and international seminars and at family business programs in academic institutions across the United States, he has been quoted as an authority on family business consulting by many publications, including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. His articles have appeared in professional journals such as Family Business and Families in Business. He is also co-author of Women in Family Business: What Keeps You up at Night?
