Banking Technology Connections: June 19, 2012

June 19, 2012

Welcome to Banking Technology Connections. The goal of the newsletter is to communicate recent trends and issues facing Banking Technology Professionals. In the last BTC survey, we asked what types of systems are being used to manage mobile devices in your institution. Blackberry, not surprisingly was the overall winner. Runners-up included MobileIron, Good, Active Sync and the resident management software in the iPhone. As tablet and smartphone usage grows, and Blackberry continues to struggle in the market, it's time to start looking at your mobile policies and make sure that they truly support your institution's strategic business plan as well as the security of your customer's information!
