Banking Technology Connections: September 11, 2012
September 11, 2012
Most likely, you are doing a good job checking for tampered ATM's at your branches. The question is, how well do you train your customers to do the same? In this week's BTC edition, we see an interesting article on ATM skimming devices ("A Handy Way to Foil ATM Skimmer Scams") that features video from three different skimmer cams. The author not only provides some interesting videos of the devices at work, but also gives us some food for thought on how folks in Europe appear to be better educated at protecting their PINs. How well do you educate your customers?
