Jim is a member of the Firm and a Director of Audit & Accounting Services for the Firm’s Entrepreneurial Driven Businesses group. He serves as an engagement officer for private closely-held, family-owned, venture backed and publicly traded companies.
Jim provides audit and financial consulting services to businesses from their start-up phase through exit planning. With over thirty years of experience, he has served clients in various industries including investment advisors, wholesalers, real estate, professional services, investment funds, food processors, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical instrument and other manufacturing businesses.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Beyond financial statement audits and reviews, Jim provides guidance on financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, profitability analysis, key employee compensation strategies, strategic planning and exit strategies. Jim’s expertise also includes accounting standard implementation and corporate and individual tax planning. His services to public companies include SEC reporting, initial public offerings, reverse mergers and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.
