Richard B. Trauger, Jr.
Biography
Rich is a Managing Director and seasoned financial services professional with over 38 years of experience, bringing expertise in strategic planning, capital planning, financial analytics, stress testing, complex financial modeling, valuation, and merger and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Rich has led more than 125 client engagements and successfully executed over four dozen mergers, acquisitions, and capital market transactions totaling approximately $5 billion. His experience includes roles as a financial analyst at Dauphin Deposit Corporation (now M&T Bank) and as an investment banker with Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets (now RBC Capital Markets).
Rich is also recognized as a subject matter expert in advanced bank valuation and has served as an expert witness in financial services matters. He is a faculty member at prominent banking schools and a frequent industry speaker.
In addition to his CPA license and multiple professional designations, Rich has completed Level II of the CFA Program and is eligible to sit for the Level III exam. Outside of finance, Rich is a certified barbecue judge and table captain with the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
