NYBA Technology, Compliance & Risk Management Forum

Date:
May 15, 2017 @ 3:30pm to May 17, 2017 @ 12:00pm

Location: Doubletree Hotel, Tarrytown, NY

Speakers:
William Nowik, CISA, CISSP, QSA, PCIP and Tracy Hall, MBCP, IT Assurance Manager, will be speaking on the topic of Deconstructing the New Cybersecurity Regulations on Monday, May 15th, at 3:30 PM.

The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) cybersecurity regulation establishes a new baseline of cybersecurity requirements which banks operating in New York need to follow. At the same time, the FDIC’s recently released Information Technology Risk Exam (InTREX) procedures outline other standards.  The good news is that most banks have everything they need in their current programs to meet the standards. It’s just a matter of documenting and organizing them in a different way. This interactive and collaborative session will delve into how your institution will likely be impacted and provide practical approaches to implementing the new requirements.  Bring specific questions or examples to address with the instructors.

Stephen R. King, JD, AMLP will be facilitating a discussion on the topic of Hot Topics in Risk and Compliance: FFIEC Consumer Compliance Rating System, Elder Financial Abuse and Other Current Issues on Tuesday, May 16th, at 3:45 PM.

We will be exhibiting at Booth #33!
