Biography

Piro is a Principal in Wolf’s Assurance Group and is co-lead of the Firm’s Healthcare Team, where he provides assurance services and accounting support to a variety of middle-market clients. He’s also a member of Wolf’s Technology Team, which gives guidance on accounting for complex debt, equity, and revenue transactions to technology clients.

Piro brings over 15 years of audit, review, and business advisory experience to privately held, venture-backed, and publicly traded companies in industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and software development. He advises clients on complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition and debt and equity instruments, and also has extensive expertise with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants including initial public offerings (IPO) and reverse mergers.

Piro lives in Framingham, Massachusetts with his wife and two sons.
