Drew V. Coveney
Biography
Drew is a Principal in Wolf’s Advisory group and leads the firm’s National Financial Institutions Team, where he’s responsible for determining the strategic direction of the group. He supports clients throughout the country with internal audit and enterprise risk management consulting needs, including the responsibility of coordinating, supervising, and executing these services.
With over 15 years of experience in the field, Drew provides expert advice for the development of risk appetites, the determination of key risk indicators, and the evaluation of risk management governance models.
Drew has significant expertise in lending, deposits, operations, cash management and payment solutions. This includes automated clearing house (ACH), branch networks, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404, other operational and financial control reviews, and internal audit department optimization.
He’s also the firm’s asset liability and liquidity funds management expert. Throughout his career, Drew has overseen operational and financial audits for institutions ranging from $100 million in assets to multi-billion dollar holding companies.
