Scott C. Baranowski
Biography
Scott is a Principal and Wolf’s Financial Institutions Niche Leader, responsible for executing the firm’s national strategy to grow audit, tax, and advisory services. He is a key leader within Wolf’s Advisory group, specializing in internal audit and leveraging advanced technologies to deliver customized solutions in internal audit, risk management, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
He brings deep expertise in operational and financial audits within the banking sector, including lending, automated clearing house (ACH), trust and wealth management, and asset-liability management. Scott also develops audit plans for institutions with outsourced and co-sourced internal audit functions, applying his extensive banking knowledge to tailor solutions across a variety of industries.
Scott joined Wolf in 2003 and has more than 30 years of experience delivering value-added internal audit and risk management services. Prior to joining the firm, he held management and internal audit roles at a $500+ million credit union, an international accounting firm, and FleetBoston Financial and its predecessor institutions, BankBoston and BayBank.
