Whiterabbit.ai is a Silicon Valley-based startup that aims to increase the accuracy and rate of early detection for breast cancer screening utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Whiterabbit was in need of a more robust cybersecurity program, and wanted to obtain a SOC 2 Type 1 and work their way up to a SOC 2 Type 2 – that’s where Wolf & Company’s vCISO service came into play.

Whiterabbit.ai and Wolf conducted regular meetings with members of the IT (information technology) staff, call center, research and development, and other departments to understand the business processes and where the security gaps existed. We formulated an information security strategy and began building the necessary programs. This included a complete cybersecurity gap assessment and gap assessments for other business processes. Wolf then prioritized remediation strategies for Whiterabbit’s security posture, implementing numerous information security and cybersecurity programs with policy governance, repeatable processes, and ongoing oversight of critical security elements.
Wolf worked with management to ensure visibility into Whiterabbit’s cybersecurity programs, creating a top-down support system and the security mindset necessary to remain ahead of the ever-evolving cybersecurity environment.
Whiterabbit obtained their SOC 2 Type 1, and ongoing security strategy development is helping the company move towards a SOC 2 Type 2.
Potential customer security questionnaires are now easier to answer and have near zero gaps.
